Maya Jama can be seen having her portrait painted in a royal-inspired first trailer for the upcoming series of Love Island: All Stars.

The ITV show, a spin-off of Love Island which sees former contestants compete for a £50,000 prize, will return for a second series after its first aired earlier in the year.

In the first of a series of trailers, host Jama, 30, can be seen wearing a white, billowing strapless gown while holding a gold scepter fitted with a heart-shaped handle, as she stands for her portrait.

Upon hearing that the painting is finished, she turns to the camera and says: “Finished? We’re just getting started.”

ITV said the promo was “inspired by the sumptuous world of royal portraits”.

The trailer will be shown at 7.29pm on Saturday during the music event, Katy Perry: Night Of A Liftetime, airing  on ITV1.

In February, Molly Smith and Tom Clare were crowned winners of the first Love Island: All Stars.

Jama has been the host of Love Island since January 2023 when she took over from Irish TV presenter Laura Whitmore.

Love Island: All Stars returns on Monday January 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
