Celine Dion has paid tribute to her late husband on what would have been their 30th wedding anniversary.
The Canadian singer, 56, was married to her manager, Rene Angelil, who died in January 2016 at the age of 73.
The couple wed on December 17, 1994 in an elaborate ceremony.
In a post to Instagram, Dion shared a photo from their wedding day and wrote: “You still fill our hearts, every day. You are everything for us. We miss you so much.
“Happy 30th anniversary, mon amour!
“Celine xx… Rene-Charles, Eddy and Nelson”.
Dion gave birth to the couple’s first son, Rene-Charles, in 2001, followed by twins Nelson and Eddy in 2010.
Angelil helped craft Dion’s career and propel her to international success after Dion’s mother sent him an audio tape of her then 12-year-old daughter.
He took the future star on and launched her first English-language album in 1990.
In July, Dion gave her first live public performance since revealing she was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome (SPS) when she sang from the Eiffel Tower at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics.
The five-time Grammy-winner revealed her SPS diagnosis in December 2022 before cancelling her Courage World Tour.
She appeared in the final moments of the Olympics pageantry dressed in a beaded silver gown with a high neckline and appeared emotional as she came to the climax of her performance.
Dion’s rare condition, which causes progressive muscular inflexibility, is documented in her 2024 documentary I Am: Celine Dion, in which she spoke about her desire to return to performing.
Dion’s hits include It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, A New Day Has Come, and My Heart Will Go On, which featured in the 1997 film Titanic and topped the UK singles chart.
