You don't need medical training to know that Bio Inc. Redemption bears no similarity to actual clinical practice.
Not unless swingeing cuts to the NHS have meant GPs are required to amass the resources necessary for treatments by harvesting red blood cells from a patient's respiratory system.
It might seem churlish to criticise, but Bio Inc. takes such a serious approach to the 'game' of diagnosing each of your patients that the meat of the experience - clicking on cells to gather points to spend on actions - feels ridiculously incongruous.
As a former mobile game, Bio Inc.'s many limitations are painfully exposed on a bigger stage.
Summary: Doggedly designed detective work undone by bizarre gameplay.
Score: 4/10
