JUST from the title, one thing will be abundantly clear to anyone who’s even slightly familiar with LEGO games from the past decade; LEGO Minifugures Online isn’t attached to a large movie franchise such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones or Jurassic Park – it’s a brand-new type of LEGO game.
Players begin by choosing one of three LEGO minifigures to build, battle, and destructively smash things with. More minifigures and minifigure parts can be unlocked with play, and can be incorporated into play.
Whether smashing, fighting or building, everything the player does earns XP. This can then be used to purchase upgrades for the little blockheads.
No multi-player online game would be complete without allowing it’s players to team up with friends – and this does just that.
LEGO Minifigures online is essentially a diet version of a massively-multiplayer online role-playing game; it acts the same, but is lighter and better suited to children.
