Slip your mask and sneak suit on and get running, as the Mini Ninjas enter the 'never-ending runner' genre of iOS games with their own brand of side-scrolling sprint 'n' slash.
To be fair, if you've played an iOS runner before, you'll know the drill. Pelt along the ground from left to right, and tap to jump over each and every obstacle that comes your way.
Coins collected along the way can be spent on special boosts and new outfits, but the game remains the same - run, run and run some more.
Freeing different ninja friends mixes the game up a bit, and they'll have different skills like attracting coins or smashing big rocks in your way.
Plus, you're able to wall-run at times or slash your ninja sword by tapping the right of the screen to add a little extra variety to this longest of journeys.
But, despite the crisp presentation and slick graphical treatment, Mini Ninjas rarely runs into top title territory simply because it's one of those games we've seen many times before. Good, but not great.
