Alexander is an NQJ-trained senior sports reporter covering AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League, Poole Pirates in the Championship and all other sport in the area. Having graduated with an MA in sports journalism, including an NCTJ diploma and an NCTJ award nomination, Alexander began his career at the Echo on the news team. After nearly two years at the paper, he moved across to the sports desk for the start of the 2024/25 football season. He covers the Cherries home and away, as well as attending speedway meetings at Wimborne Road, along with covering any and every other sports story in the area. When not at work, Alexander can often be found on his bike or on the golf course.
