NOTICE BY HIGHWAY AUTHORITY OF INTENTION
TO APPLY TO THE MAGISTRATES' COURT FOR AN ORDER
UNDER SECTION 116 OF THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
FOR STOPPING UP OF A FOOTPATH AND VERGE AT
HINKLER ROAD, SOUTHAMPTON
NOTICE is given that an application will be made to the West Hampshire Magistrates Court sitting at 100 The Avenue, Southampton, Hampshire, SO17 1EYon 16th September 2016 at 2pm for an Order stopping up the footpath and verge at Hinkler Road, Southampton, the position of which is indicated on the plan which may be inspected at the offices of the Service Director for Legal and Governance, Southampton and Fareham Legal Services Partnership, Civic Centre, Southampton, SO14 7LY from 9.00am to 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays and is shown by the part zebra hatched black and shall be stopped-up as more particularly specified in the Schedule.
SCHEDULE
The footpath and verge have a length of 98.39 metres and a maximum width of 3.62 metres. The Ordnance Survey references are A-X=123227.823, Y=443996.976, B - X=4468888.360, Y=112276.026, C-X=123326.103, Y=443992.920, D-X=123325.977, Y=443996.566.
The reason for making this order is that the footpath and verge is not necessary.
