MARINE AND COASTAL ACCESS ACT 2009 APPLICATION FOR THIRD SOLENT FIBRE OPTIC TELECOMS CABLE
Notice is hereby given that British Telecommunications pic has applied to the Marine Management Organisation under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to undertake the installation of a fibre optic submarine cable in the Western Solent. Plans showing the position of the works may be inspected at; Blackfield Library, 167, Hampton Parade, Blackfield, Southampton, Hampshire. S045 1XA; Cowes Library, 12-14, Beckford Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight. P031 7SG; Freshwater Library, 41, School Green Road, Freshwater, Isle of Wight. Copies of the application and associated information may be viewed on line in the Public Register at www.gov.uk/check-marine-licence-register. Representations or objections in respect of the application should be made in writing, giving an address to which correspondence relating to the representation or objection may be sent, to the Marine Management Organisation, Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YH, or alternatively emailed to marine.consents@marinemanagement.org.uk, within 28 days of 3rd June 2016, quoting reference M LA/2016/00124.
The Marine Management Organisation will pass to the applicant a copy of any objection or representation we receive.
