NOTICE BY HIGHWAY AUTHORITY OF INTENTION TO APPLY TO THE MAGISTRATES' COURT FOR AN ORDER UNDER SECTION 116 OF THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 FOR STOPPING-UP OF CARRIAGEWAY AT KINGSCLERE AVENUE, WESTON COURT, SOUTHAMPTON HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116
NOTICE is given that an application will be made to the Magistrates' Court sitting at West Hampshire Magistrates' Court, 100 The Avenue, Southampton, Hampshire SO17 1EY on 10th June 2015 at 10.00am for an Order stopping-up the public footpath at Kingsclere Avenue, Weston Court, the position of which is indicated on the plan which may be inspected at the offices of the Head of Legal and Democratic Services, Southampton City Council, Southampton and Fareham Legal Services Partnership, Civic Centre, Southampton SO14 7LY from 9.00am to 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays and is shown by the part hatched black and shall be stopped-up as more particularly specified in the Schedule.
SCHEDULE
The length of the main carriageway is 73.9 metres with a maximum width of 3.4 metres. The turning head shown as points G,l to I,J has a length of 9.7 metres with a minimum width of 3.2 metres and a maximum width of 16.8 metres. The reason for making the Order is that the carriageway is
unnecessary.
