SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

CITY OF SOUTHAMPTON (WESTERN ESPLANADE) (ROAD CLOSURE) (273-45) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2015

Southampton City Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE THAT, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Council made the following Order on 16th March 2015.

1 The effect of the Order will be to close Western Esplanade from a point 280m north of its junction with West Quay Road for a distance of 55m in a southerly direction.

2 The Order is required to facilitate the development of Watermark West Quay.

3 The Order comes into force on 18th March 2015 and it is anticipated that the work will take 4 weeks to complete. The Order will therefore cease to have effect on 13th April 2015 or on completion of the works, whichever is later.
