SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIU
CITY OF SOUTHAMPTON (DOUGLAS CRESCENT) (ROAD CLOSURE) (197-45) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2014
Southampton City Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE THAT, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Council made the following Order on 30th September 2014.
1 The effect of the Order will be to close Douglas Crescent from its junction with Upper Deacon Road to 30m south of its junction with Upper Deacon Road.

2 The Order is required to allow gas main replacement works to be carried out.

3 The alternative route will be via Upper Deacon Road, Douglas Crescent and vice versa.

4 The Order comes into force on 1st October 2014 and it is anticipated that the work will take 8 weeks to complete. The Order will therefore cease to have effect on 27th November 2014 or on completion of the works, whichever is later.
