Environmental Impact

Environmental Impact Assessment (Forestry) (England and Wales) Regulations 1999
Publication of an Environmental Statement in connection with an application for consent to carry out deforestation at Purbeck, Dorset, to restore areas of lowland heath and mire habitat was advertised in this newspaper on 9 Oct 2013 in accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) (Forestry) (England and Wales) Regulations 1999 (Section 13). Forest Services (part of the Forestry Commission responsible for the EIA regulations) have now considered an analysis of the proposal's impacts set out in an Environmental Statement and comments received through the consultation advertised on 9 Oct 2013. In light of this information Forest Services have determined to give consent for the proposals subject to conditions.
A full account of this decision along with the conditions of
consent can be viewed at either:
The Forestry Commission Office at Lyndhurst: Forestry Commission, The Queen's House Lyndhurst, Hants SO43 7NH
(Between 0900 and 1600 Mon - Fri) or: on the Forestry Commission web-site: www.forestry.gov.uk/forestry/ EIA-decisions

We advise a copy is sent to Forestry Commission England's Executive Office, Forestry Commission, 620 Bristol Business Park, Coldharbour Lane, Bristol, BS16 1EJ.
