SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL made the following Order on 6th November 2013:

THE CITY OF SOUTHAMPTON (RESIDENTS' PARKING SCHEMES) (AMENDMENT) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2013

1 The effects of the Order are as follows:

(a) To introduce a charge of £30 per year for first Resident's Parking Permits in Zones 1-12 & 16, where no current charge for these permits applies.

(b) To introduce a charge of £15 for Temporary Resident's Permits in Zones 1-12 & 16; and for these permits to be valid for a period of 3 months with the same terms of use as a Resident's Permit.

2 The Order comes into operation on 1st December 2013.

3 Copies of the Order and statement of reasons for proposing may be inspected during normal working hours at Civic Centre, Southampton SO14 7LY. Further information may also be obtained from the Southampton Highways Partnership on 023 8079 8063.

4 Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers ofthe relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
