NEWS by definition is often the bad things that happen in the world so we should celebrate when something that is positive makes the headlines.
Amongst all the doom and gloom was a gem of a story that is really up lifting.
Scientists have discovered a new cancer drug called Berzosertib which has had very promising trials where patients with serious cancer conditions have responded well to the drug.
To me this bodes very well for future generations of mankind to a time where man's deadliest enemy cancer is a condition that when diagnosed will not be the life changing illness it is in our time.
It might not seem like it but thankfully mankind is still moving forward and progressing as this medical breakthrough shows us.
