IT MUST be a matter for regret that Simon Letts (Labour) and Jeremy Moulton (Conservative) were not re-elected to the Southampton City Council.
Both men are intelligent, educated, industrious, have held high office in the council, and have given long and useful public service to the council and the community.
It is true that politicians need a measure of public support, but the community have lost two good councillors and the we all are the poorer for it.
The electorate should do better than this.
