I would just like to convey an great big thank-you to all those involved in making the Ford Pop Up Museum a great success over this past week, from a small discussion over a cake and coffee to a very successful display of memorabilia, photographs, videos, and on hand ex-employees to give detailed memories of their time at Ford.
It was also great to meet and chat with many ex-employees and remember the times we had during our time at Ford. It was also good to meet those who even pre-dated Ford from Cunliffe Owen to Briggs Motor Bodies, a great piece of local history saved and shared by so many there was also time to remember those that gave their lives during the bombing of Cunliffe Owen during WW2 with the new plaque of remembrance kindly donated by the new developers of Mounpark and Winvic.
Well done to the Transition Team, it was a privilege to be part of the team and part of the Ford family for 32 years.
