With regards to the promise by Councillor Jacqui Rayment that all roadside salt bins would be filled before the next forecast snowfall by her ‘well paid’ contractors. Perhaps Ms Rayment would like to explain why the bins are still empty despite the forecast some two weeks ago of snow over the Easter bank holiday. She is spared the ire of motorists by the fact the snow fell further north but she certainly hadn’t ensured her contractors carried out her instruction and prepared for the forecast bad weather.
