ON TUESDAY a leaked government report showed that any and all Brexit deals will damage the UK’s economy for many years to come.
Some will still believe this is all part of ‘Project Fear’, cooked up by some unrepentant Remainiacs. The truth is, we’re well beyond Project Fear now; we’re up to our collective eyeballs in Project Reality.
Those dyed-in-the-wool Brexit flag-wavers, as well as all those self-described ‘reluctant Brexiters’ – including those on the Labour and Conservative benches in Parliament – are literally supporting the decline of our country. That’s not what anyone voted for in June 2016.
Polling published last week found that the will of the people has changed, and the country would now prefer to remain in the EU. Isn’t it therefore time we put a stop to this shambles?
