I write regarding with reference to Mr Dave Fletcher’s recent letter regarding traffic calming measures in Warren Avenue, Shirley Warren, as in one of them being damaged, and a possible result being vehicle damage.
Also I write with reference to the start of Warren Avenue, and the lack of clear road signs for children and parents to cross the road safely at all times. Southampton City Council in their alleged infinite wisdom took no less than two years to replace those road signs, absolutely disgraceful behaviour.
Also abhorrent is no disabled access to green spaces city wide and nationwide. And to finish I would like to pose two questions to certain councillors (you know who you are) who would never, ever, dream or be up for actually living in the areas they represent.
Where is the fairness? Where is the compassion?
Mr R Lambert
