THE big Hampshire Premier Division showdown between reigning champions Bush Hill and league leaders Infinity ended with honours even.
Callum Parker’s 23rd-minute penalty gave Infinity the edge at half-time, but Danny Smith’s overhead kick brought the Bush boys back for a share of the spoils.
That result worked in favour of second-placed Paulsgrove who narrowed the gap on Infinity to four points with four games in hand.
The Portsmouth outfit beat Sway 5-1, spearheaded by two-goal Alex Miroy. Danny Lane, Jimmy Hird and Ben Vassallo were also on target.
In Divison One, Netley Central Sports took a big step towards the title with a 5-1 home win over Upham thanks to a Matt Watts hat-trick and a double for Alex White.
Netley have one game left, but that is away to thirdplaced Four Marks who have a game in hand and could themselves wind up in top spot.
Congratulations to Paulsgrove Reserves who won the Combination title thanks to a 5-1 win at Winchester Castle with Moulay Ousman scoring twice.
