TOM Sands became the first Hampshire Premier League top flight player to reach the 20-goal milestone in 2015/16.

The Otterbourne hot-shot took his seasonal league tally to 21 with a double strike in his side’s Senior Division 5-0 romp at Liphook.

Sands scored in the 54th and 58th minutes to double the lead given to them in the first half by an own goal and Scott Munro.

James Eyles completed the win in the 89th minute.

The Otters are now two points behind leaders Hamble, having both played 18 games.

Liss, who have a game in hand on both clubs, are a point behind Hamble.

Locks Heath came from 0-2 down to win 3-2 at Overton United.

The hosts looked in control thanks to Michael Pemberton and Myles Englefield, but Locks hit back through Callum Britton (50), Sam Peel (60) and Joe Collins (82).

Babucarr Bojang and Kevin Betlem both struck twice as QK Southampton beat visiting Colden Common 4-1.

Bojang took his league tally to 12 with goals in the 18th and 76th minutes, while Betlem netted in the 26th and 29th minutes. Sam Crabbe replied 12 minutes from time.

Fleetlands also came from two goals down away from home to win.

In their case they trailed 2-0 at Stockbridge after 13 minutes, but recovered to run out 5-3 winners.

Sam Hamilton and Jacob Marsh (penalty) gave Stockbridge the advantage, but Fleetlands were leading on 37 minutes thanks to Scott Hamilton, Matthew Ward and Jack Morby. Morby struck again and, after Declan Muspratt had reduced the arrears, Jordan Whietley completed the scoring.

Darren Ferguson (2) and Robert Humphry helped Clanfield – who host leaders Hamble on December 28 – win 3-1 at home to Headley.
