EASTLEIGH have lined up their first two pre-season friendlies ahead of 2018/19 Vanarama National League season.

Andy Hessenthaler’s Spitfires kick off with a big one, at home to Sky Bet Championship side Reading at The Silverlake Stadium on Saturday, June 30, with a 12.30pm kick-off.

The second fixture is almost a month later when they make the short trip to the Simplyhealth City Ground to take on Southern West side Winchester City on Saturday, July 28 (3pm).

Having reached the Championship play-off final in 2016/17, Reading had a tough time of it last term, finishing just above the drop zone in 20th place.

Jaap Stam departed as manager on March 21 and was replaced two days later by ex-Swansea City boss Paul Clement.

Winchester City, managed by Craig Davis, finished 11th in the Evo-Stik South West.
