FORMER Eastleigh boss Martin Allen has returned to manage Barnet - for a fifth time!

The Bees, who are bottom of League Two - have sacked head coach Graham Westley and welcomed Allen back into the fold in a bid to maintain their Football League status.

Westley was in charge for just over two months, winning only two of his 11 games at the helm.

That has opened the door again for 52-year-old Allen whose fourth spell as Bees boss was followed by a disastrous reign at National League outfit Eastleigh which lasted just 14 games and ended with him being sacked in February last year.

He had joined the Spitfires from Barnet on December 1, 2016, and failed to win a single home game.

A Barnet FC statement said: "Everyone at The Hive, London, would like to wish Martin the best of luck as he joins our fight to keep Barnet in the Football League.

"The Club would like to encourage every Bees fan out there to get behind Martin and the team for our crucial 8-game run in and for us all to pull together as we look to maintain our league status."
