REECE Topley will be trying to help England clinch their ODI series against Pakistan in Dubai tomorrow.

The new Hampshire signing has helped England go 2-1 up from the first three matches.

With five wickets at 20 apiece and the best economy rate on either side, having conceded only 3.46 an over so far, Topley has shown the quality that persuaded Hampshire to sign him.

The left-armer took 1-41 from ten overs before England chased down 209 to record their second six-wicket win of the series, with nine overs to spare, on Tuesday.

Afterwards, captain Eoin Morgan said: "The chase was exceptional. The manner in which they played was probably the biggest step we've had forward on this tour so far.

"In previous tours, when you're presented with a challenge, you sometimes fall short to start with - and then need to make a mistake in order to learn."

James Taylor (67no) and Jos Buttler (49no) shared an unbroken century stand after Chris Woakes took 4-40.

"I thought we were outstanding in all facets," continued Morgan. "The attitude we showed to dig in and show resilience is one of the things I'm really proud of.

"Considering we're a young side lacking a bit of experience, it says a great deal about the progress we are making at the moment."

England will today name their squad for the forthcoming series against South Africa.
