SOUTHAMPTON AC’s veterans middle distance team turned out in force at Sutton Park, Birmingham, for the Masters National Road Relay Championships.

Southampton’s M45 A quartet of Peter Costley (17.25), Jon Grainger (18.05), Scott Augur (18.40) and Andy Morgan-Lee (17.38) placed 17th out of 46.
The B quartet of Howard Long (19:27), Keith Hollis (20.35), John MacInnes (19.13) and Sid DeLara (21.13) came 36th.
