SAINTS Women have announced the signing of versatile right-back Rachel Brown as the club's latest summer arrival.
Brown joins after leaving fellow Women's Championship side Sheffield United, where she spent the past two seasons.
Brown is the third summer signing to join from the Blades, linking back up with fellow-incomings Tara Bourne and Fran Stenson on the south coast.
She said: "I'm very excited and very grateful to be here, Southampton have always been a very good club.
"They have been competitive in the Championship. Hopefully, I can really push on and help the team go places this season.”
After spending time at Leicester City, she dropped down to the third tier with Nottingham Forest and rose back up through the divisions.
Brown earned a move to the Championship with Sheffield United in 2022 and an under-23s youth international with Scotland.
Brown describes herself as a "tenacious" player looking to make an immediate impression in her new surroundings.
