SAINTS manager Russell Martin has hinted at "tweaks and changes" during the remaining seven Championship games.
Having gone winless in three since the international break, he is looking to find a winning formula again ahead of the playoffs.
Coventry visit St Mary's looking to bolster their own playoff hopes, having won more away games than any other Championship team in 2024.
Here is how we think Martin will line up his side...
Goalkeeper
Gavin Bazunu recorded a much-needed confidence boost with his first clean sheet in eight outings despite a disappointing result for the team.
Defenders
Kyle Walker-Peters, Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Jan Bednarek are all well-positioned to keep their places after a strong defensive showing.
Captain Jack Stephens has been the focus of some debate for weeks but continues to perform well for Martin in a hybrid role.
Midfielders
Flynn Downes is probably the first name on the team sheet with nobody able to anchor the midfield in the same way that he does.
Ahead of him, Joe Aribo deserves to keep his place while it could be a welcome return to the team for Scotsman Stuart Armstrong.
Attackers
Adam Armstrong is the only true guarantee as a starter in the front three and, in Martin's view, he can play in all of the positions.
Che Adams should be recalled to play as the number nine and another start for David Brooks would move Armstrong to the left.
Full predicted team
Bazunu; Walker-Peters, Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Stephens; Downes, Aribo, S Armstrong; Brooks, A Armstrong, Adams.
