HAMPSHIRE Cricket Club will take part in their biggest-ever schools takeover this summer as they look to introduce a new generation to the sport.

Double champions Southern Vipers will take on Northern Diamonds in the Charlotte Edwards Cup and Hampshire Hawks will play Middlesex in the Vitality Blast at the Utilita Bowl on Friday, June 14.

The Hampshire Hawks schools takeover will offer 50 per cent off tickets to watch the sides in T20 action.

With a dedicated schools area and a range of activities to participate in throughout the evening, Hampshire are hoping students will want to engage in the event.

Schools are being asked to register now on the Utilita Bowl website to help plan for parents, staff, and children to travel to and meet at the ground.

There will be minibus and coach parking options available with more information being available once registering.
