SAINTS reportedly want to take Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on loan in the final days of the transfer window.
The St Mary's side are looking to add one more forward to their ranks ahead of the winter window's deadline day next Thursday.
Saints have been linked with loan moves for the likes of Manuel Benson, David Brooks and Liel Abada but are yet to make their signing.
Russell Martin has only added midfielder Joe Rothwell to the ranks so far and is happy with his squad if they cannot make a further addition.
Rak-Sakyi, 21, has made six Premier League appearances for Palace this season with each of those coming as a substitute.
The left-footed, right-sided winger has been ruled out since November with a hamstring injury but has made his return to full training.
The South London Press report Saints are 'keen on' loaning Rak-Sakyi but he will only be let go if Palace land a reinforcement of their own.
Several Championship sides are said to be interested, with Rak-Sakyi set to return to Hogdson's Premier League squad on Tuesday.
The Southwark-born attacker scored 15 goals and recorded nine assists in 49 appearances at League One Charlton Athletic last season.
The report adds Championship leaders Leicester agreed a deal to loan Rak-Sakyi last summer but Palace said no after the exit of Wilfried Zaha.
Rak-Sakyi was prolific in both the under-18s and under-21s at Palace before forging a senior career, scoring 29 goals in 56 matches.
Rak-Sakyi joined Palace after being released by Chelsea in 2019 and represented England as a youth international.
