SAINTS have recalled defender Thierry Small from his second loan spell at Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.
The 19 year old returns to the club after making six appearances north of the border, following 15 outings last campaign.
Small became Everton's youngest-ever player when Carlo Ancelotti gave him his debut in January 2021 at 16 years old.
He then joined Saints to turn professional later that summer in a high-profile move that involved a compensation fee paid to the Toffees. He turns 20 this year.
Small made his Saints debut in January 2022 but was hooked at half-time in an eventual win over Coventry City and is yet to feature since.
The club statement issued reads: "After spending pre-season with the under-21s before departing, the left-back will return to Staplewood with further experience in senior football under his belt during the first half of the campaign."
