MILLWALL are set for a double injury-return boost ahead of Saturday's clash with Saints, with Shaun Hutchinson and Ryan Leonard back in their squad.

Centre-back Hutchinson has been out since early September with a calf injury while the versatile Leonard has been sidelined with a cracked bone in his knee.

Hutchinson, 32, has played 248 games for Millwall and has just only just fewer Championship appearances overall.

Leonard, 31, born in Plymouth, has made 54 Championship appearances for Millwall across the last two seasons but has been missing this campaign.

“Lenny and Hutch are back in training,” Lions caretaker boss Adam Barrett told the South London Press. “It is good to have them back in full time.

“Hopefully they get through the next couple of days – we expect them to – and to be hopefully involved on Saturday.

"It’s nice to have them back involved in the squad. We had a very young bench at Watford.

“Hutchy has been out two-and-a-half months and Lenny has been out three or four weeks now. It’s their first few days back on the grass training with us.”

Duncan Watmore and Matija Sarkic are set to miss the match for Millwall, which falls on Armed Forces Day at The Den.

“Dunc still might be a little bit longer but if all goes well he can be back involved fully in training next week,” said Barrett. “Matija (Sarkic) is still going to be a few weeks.

“It is starting to look a little bit healthier on the injury front. Having some of the senior lads back makes us look a little bit stronger.”
