SAINTS have been named as one of the teams reportedly showing an interest in Manchester City youngster James McAtee.
The City academy graduate spent last season on loan at recently promoted Premier League side Sheffield United.
McAtee scored nine goals and made four assists in 43 appearances for the promotion-winning Blades.
The Daily Mail report that Southampton, Wolves, Brighton, Celtic, Real Sociedad, Sheffield United and AZ Alkmaar are all interested in the 'Salford Silva.'

The report also notes that some teams are interested in signing him permanently while others are seeking a loan deal, however, City are reluctant to let the talented midfielder go.
Director of football Jason Wilcox, who is leading on transfers, is familiar with McAtee from his time as Man City academy director.
Should the 20 year old join he would become the sixth player to make the move from Manchester City to Saints in the last two summer windows.
McAtee scored against Bayern Munich during pre-season and was an unused substitute as Manchester City lost the Community Shield on penalties to Arsenal on Sunday.
