PIERRE-EMILE Hojbjerg’s still holding on for a move Tottenham - even as other clubs show an interest in him.
The Daily Echo previously reported that three more sides had been in contact with Saints and it’s now believed one of them is from the Premier League and another is based in Germany.
Saints are keen to sell Hojbjerg to the highest bidder, but the midfielder has his heart set on joining Spurs.
The north London side are digging their heels in over the 24-year-old’s valuation as they don’t believe he’s worth the £25million the St Mary’s side are asking for.
This leaves Saints in a difficult position because they want to get on with their own business and don’t want this situation to rumble on throughout the window.
However, due to Hojbjerg’s desire to end up at Spurs, there is very little they can do.
He has less than a year left to run on his Saints contract which is why Daniel Levy, Tottenham’s chairman, believes he’s worth £15m as opposed to £25m.
