Former Saint Charlie Austin
FORMER Saint Charlie Austin has lashed out at the club's fans on Twitter.
The striker spent three years at St Mary's before joining West Brom last summer.
He was allowed to leave the club after being deemed surplus to requirements by manager Ralph Hasenhuttl and was also made to train away from the first-team squad.
And in tweets that have now been deleted, Austin criticised Saints' fanbase for not backing the team.
Austin tweeted: "You’re s**t fans, you don’t sing to get behind the team only when they score never when they need a boost."
