MARIO Lemina has agreed personal terms with Monaco, according to French outlet RMC Sport.

Lemina had initially attracted interest from Premier League sides Everton, Wolves, Arsenal, Manchester United and Leicester.

However, with the English transfer window closing last week, his only hope of a transfer is by joining a European team.

Moncao have until 2 September to wrap up their business which gives them the time to come to an agreement with Saints.

It's become clear that Lemina is surplus to requirements at St Mary's, having joined just two years ago from Juventus for £15m.

The report in RMC Sport suggests that while personal terms have been agreed, the two sides are yet to find a solution.

It's claimed that Monaco want to take him on loan with an option to buy, while Saints, in an ideal world, would rather an obligation to buy.
