Saints will begin the 2019/20 Premier League season against Chelsea at home, according to a 'leaked' fixture list circulating on social media.

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side will officially find out their top-flight fixtures when they are announced on Thursday at 9am.

Despite the announcement not coming until tomorrow, an image has been doing the rounds online and appears to reveal the opening day fixtures early.

However, until the Premier League confirm the schedule, it's worth taking it with a pinch of salt.

If it is true, though, it could see Chelsea begin their campaign at St Mary's under a new manager.

It's been widely reported that Maurizio Sarri will depart Stamford Bridge for Italian giants Juventus - with former player Frank Lampard in the frame to replace him in the dugout.

Saints' first match last season was also played at home to Burnley.

Elsewhere, the 'leaked' image shows that Tottenham v Norwich will be the first game of the campaign and will be shown on Sky Sports.

The first fixtures to be played on 'Super Sunday' will be Aston Villa v Leicester City and Manchester United v Brighton.

Last season's league winners, Manchester City, will have to wait until Monday, 12 August before they kick their campaign off against Wolves.

It's worth noting that a similar image displaying the first round of Premier League fixtures 'leaked' last year and was wrong.

However, here is the 'leaked' image with the opening matches:
