SAINTS have announced their plans for pre-season, with trips to Austria, Dublin and Macau lined up.

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side will start their preparation for next season's Premier League by spending a week at Staplewood, before flying to Austria.

Whilst there, Saints will play a friendly against Austrian Bundesliga side, SCR Altach, on Sunday, 14 July.

The south coast side are returning to the Montafon region, which is where they conducted their pre-season back in 2017.

Following their stint in Hasenhuttl's native country, the squad will return to Staplewood for another week's intensive training.

A selected Saints XI, along with Hasenhuttl, will then fly to Macau to take part in a friendly with Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F on Tuesday, 23 July.

The players picked for the trip will be in Asia from Sunday, 21 July to Wednesday, 24 July, before linking up with the rest of the team in Dublin.

Those who aren't on the Macau trip will be heading to the Irish capital to finalise their preparations for the new season on Monday, 22 July until Friday, 26 July.

Although there won't be any games during their time in Dublin, there is a chance that they could play a domestic game on the weekend they return.

Saints are still in the process of finalising their plans, which is likely to include more fixtures.
