EIGHTEEN anglers fished Adventures match at Royal Berks Fishery Winkfield on Sunday last and in a low scoring match Gary Knight topped the field with 24lb 8oz of carp and F1 carp caught on pole and maggot.

This coming Sunday’s match programme puts Adventure on Court Farm Fishery Aldermaston, Camrose on New Barlows Lake Tadley, Ospreys go to Dandys Ford Canal Romsey, whilst Oxoid AC are at Charlies Lake Andover.

Staceys Supremo Keith Brown has stocked yet more fish into his fisheries. Whitehouse Lake took 500lb of bream to 9lb plus 200lb of carp, New Barlows received 500lb of bream and 200lb of carp whilst Soke Road was presented with 600lb of carp, a forward thinking move from a forward thinking fishery boss.

With festivities over perhaps we can all get back to fishing, what’s worrying is ‘er indoors looking for winter breaks in the sun.
