JAKE Hesketh scored another memorable goal for Burton Albion as his loan club beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 to reach the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

A week after his eye-catching solo goal against Pompey at Fratton Park, the Saints midfielder’s 82nd-minute volley put Burton 3-1 up against manager Nigel Clough’s former club.

Championship outfit Forest pulled one back in injury time through Arvin Appiah, shortly after Hesketh had been substituted following his second goal for Burton.

But the League One club held on after a nervy finish to what was a thrilling encounter, with all the goals coming in the second half.
