STRIKER Callum Wilson vowed to block out the West Ham fans to help Cherries succeed on Saturday.

Wilson scored a controversial stoppage-time equaliser against Hammers last season.

After the dramatic conclusion at Vitality Stadium in December, the 26-year-old described as a "touch of magic" his contentious goal, which appeared to come off his arm before going into the net.

Wilson told the Daily Echo: "It is just another game for me. I don't really look back at the past.

"They have got a new manager and a new team. You just have to take it for what it is and play the team on the day.

"I will probably get some stick from the fans but as a professional you block it out. I have a job to do and if I am selected I will be doing it.

"We will watch them throughout the week and see how we can affect the game. We will aim to impose ourselves.

"We want to win as much as we can over the coming weeks and the whole season."

Wilson netted a hat-trick at Upton Park in 2015 to help the Dorset club bank their first Premier League victory.

Cherries travel to London Stadium hoping to secure their first win at the venue.

"It is different from Upton Park," added Wilson. "The stadium is a lot bigger and the fans are a lot farther away from the pitch but it is like any other game, really.

"You have got their fans who are going to give you stick but you need to stay professional and keep your head in a good place."
