Saints are set to play Dijon in a pre-season friendly, the French club have announced.
Saints chiefs have been searching for an opponent to face while away on their pre-season training camp in France, and it seems the Ligue 1 team have answered the call.
Dijon say that they will take on Saints on Saturday, July 28, at 3pm local time, with the fixture taking place in Divonnes-les-Baines, close to where Mark Hughes’ men will be based.
Saints have one further game as part of their fortnight in China following yesterday’s 3-3 draw with Schalke, before returning home for a week and taking on Derby.
They then jet out to France before heading back to Staplewood to complete their pre-season preparations, which includes home friendlies against Celta Vigo and Borussia Monchengladbach.
