EVO-STIK South Premier newcomers Salisbury have lined up a fourth summer signing.
Manager Steve Claridge is adding central midfielder Darren Mullings from Chippenham Town to his squad.
A former Gloucester City, Paulton Rovers and Weston-super-Mare player, Mullings follows George Barker, Marcus Beauchamp and Pablo Haysham into the Wiltshire club.
Mullings, 31, was one of six Chippenham players to agree a new deal with the National League South side in May but was also made an offer by the Whites, who were promoted as Southern League West runners-up last season.
On the debit side influential midfielder Tom Whelan is parting company with Salisbury to return to his Liverpool roots and pursue a possible professional career.
The 22-year-old, who joined Salisbury from Poole Town three years ago, has a trial lined up with a Football League club.
The latest addition to Salisbury’s pre-season friendly programme is a trip to last season’s Evo-Stik South West rivals Winchester City on Tuesday, July 17 (7.45pm).
