Bednarek makes Poland squad
SAINTS' young centre-back Jan Bednarek has made the cut for Poland, getting selected in the final 23-man World Cup squad.
It means the 22-year-old will now be heading to the tournament in Russia this month, where the Poles take on Maya Yoshida's Japan, Colombia and Senegal in Group H.
It caps off a superb 2018 for Bednarek, after the defender broke into the Saints squad late in the season under Mark Hughes and impressed with some mature displays.
