ALONG with several other supporters, I have sent a letter to Southampton Football Club and had no response.

There are some really serious issues which the club will not comment on.

The board is getting a free ride for decisions which are causing serious harm to our club, moreover there is a massive apparent hypocrisy between statements issued by or on behalf of Ms Liebherr and Mr Krueger and the glaring inconsistencies.

We should like to know the following:

We were told that after the departure of Mr Cortese a financial black hole had been discovered which necessitated a mass player exodus. What level of debt was it, £30m, 40m, 50m for the club’s owner?

We were told that this level of debt was unsustainable. How does the club view £210 million of new debt?

The club’s ex-owner wants to take us to the next level. Why and how is Mr Gao capable of this with five or seven-times more debt than Ms Liebherr?

The Southampton way revolved around a first team half filled with academy players. Why, then, did we sell them?

Southampton Football Club recognises its importance to the community. Why do we still not have an end, are banned from flags and banners and have no encouragement for atmosphere?

The catering and drink is among the worst in the Premier League. Do you realise the importance of a decent pie?

Major income for the bigger clubs is corporate. Why is ours so unbelievably poor and not effectively marketed?

Football is our branded product. Who allowed this degradation?

We were allegedly aiming for the Champions League in five years. Why are we looking at relegation?

Why did Gareth Rodgers leave?

Why did Paul Mitchell leave?

Why did we lose Mauricio Pochettino? Ronald Koeman? Claude Puel? and soon Mauricio Pellegrino?

In all honesty does the club think they have performed well?
