MOTORISTS are facing delays on the M3 and M27 this morning after two crashes.
Emergency services are at the scene of the first collision, which happened on the A33 Winchester bypass at about 6.30am.
The A34 northbound exit for the A33 just north of Winchester is shut and Highways England says this could be the case for a 'protracted' amount of time.
A second crash has now blocked one lane of the M3 northbound between junction 12 and 13, and there are "long delays" on the road itself, as well as the joining M27 carriageways.
Regarding the A33 crash, a Highways England statement says: "Our traffic officers are at the scene with Hampshire Police.
"Info from the scene indicates closure will be protracted.
"A full investigation is taking place.
"Delays on M3 and A34."
