A SOUTHAMPTON road was closed following a traffic incident in Southampton.
Pictures taken at the scene at the junction of the A3024 Maybray King Way and Bitterne Road East show a number of police and ambulance vehicles parked in the road.
The junction was closed but has now reopened to traffic.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said a man was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "We were called at 3.06pm to reports of a two vehicle collision on Maybray King Way, at the junction with Bitterne Road East.
"The vehicles involved were an ambulance and a Toyota Yaris.
"One minor injury has been reported at this time."

Traffic is building in the area, particularly on the A3024 heading eastbound after the West End Road flyover.
A witness told the Daily Echo described the incident as "nasty".
