They’re the award-winning communications experts - and now also the proud sponsors of the inaugural Daily Echo Education Awards.

Hampshire based Silver Lining are specialists in IT and business telecommunications.

But their office in Whiteley is also the site of much charity fundraising and they have also supported the Beau Halo Trust, The Highlands Hub, Southampton Hospital Charity, and The Samaritan’s Purse International Relief.

They were crowned winners of South Coast Business Commitment to the Region Award 2016 for their work with Southampton General Hospital and Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and other community projects.

Now managing director Allan Packer has thrown his weight behind the Daily Echo’s initiative to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our region’s education professionals.

Mr Packer said: “We’re thrilled to be supporting the Daily Echo Education Awards.

“We’ve benefited greatly from apprenticeships and traineeships as well as higher education introducing bright young people to our business, so we have the utmost respect for the educators and support staff who foster such talent.

“These awards recognise dedication and commitment to education, a cause which we are more than happy to get behind.”

As previously reported the Daily Echo received dozens of nominations in the first ever education awards - with winners announced next week at a special celebration event.
