FINAL preparations are under way for the Martyr Worthy Plant Sale being held in Winchester later this month.
The sale will be held at Chilland House, Lower Chilland Lane, on April 21, between 10am and 12pm.
Besides plants, both popular and unusual, there will also be a produce stall and refreshments.
A plant sale organiser said: "For the past two years, enthusiastic and talented gardeners in the area have been preparing for this sale. Old hands will know that there will be the opportunity to buy good quality plants, both unusual and old favourites, at very reasonable prices.
"For those new to the area and for the inexperienced, you will be able to get advice and guidance from the growers themselves."
Entry to the Martyr Worthy Plant Sale costs £2, with all proceeds going to Itchen Valley Parish and St Swithun’s Church.
