WINCHESTER'S iconic cathedral is set to star on the small screen later this month in a new documentary series.
Channel 4 will be airing an episode of Britain's Most Historic Towns called 'Norman Winchester', which will feature the cathedral on Saturday, April 21.
In the series, academic and broadcaster Professor Alice Roberts will explore the secrets of Britain's dramatic history using 'cutting-edge' CGI.
Winchester will be the subject of the series' third episode, with other focusing on Chester, York, Norwich, Cheltenham and Belfast.
Britain's Most Historic Towns: Norman Winchester will air at 8pm on Channel 4.
