MORE than 50 residents turned out to clean up villages in Winchester.
Parish councillors joined with members of the public across the Itchen Valley to tidy up litter in the annual event.
More than thirty bin bags were filled during the spring clean earlier this month, with groups heading out in Martyr Worthy, Easton, Itchen Abbas and Avington.
Members of the public were also on hand to help ferry the rubbish off using cars, pick-up trucks and even a trailer to help ferry the waste off.
Member's from the WI group were on hand to provide refreshments for the volunteers.
Following the event, organisers paid tribute to everyone who turned out to help.
